Congratulations to all our Highest Award honorees |
This spring we celebrated the 2021-2022 class of Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award Girl Scouts! This class includes 488 Bronze Awards, 269 Silver Awards, and 45 Gold Award Girl Scouts!
In Colorado alone, the 800 Girl Scouts who earned a Highest Award this year have spent more than 26,000 hours working toward making the world a better place. Each year nationally, more than 50,000 Girl Scouts earned the Gold, Silver, or Bronze Awards, investing more than one million hours into making the world a better place.
Resourceful, determined, resilient: That’s what it’s like being a Bronze, Silver and Gold Award Girl Scout. And Girl Scouts carry those attributes throughout their lives. Gold Award Girl Scouts have unique, impactful stories to share with the world, and those stories help them stand out in the college admissions process, in their careers, and throughout their lives.
Eighty-seven percent of Gold Award Girl Scouts say the Gold Award gave them skills to succeed professionally. They become innovative problem solvers, empathetic leaders, confident public speakers, and focused project managers.
