Girl Scout Day with DU Gymnastics

Join us for Girl Scout Day with DU Gymnastics! Come cheer on the Pioneers as they take on the Air Force Falcons on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018. Meet the gymnastics coaches at a special post-game meet and greet. Each Girl Scout attending will get a special event patch.

The match begins at 2 p.m. at Magness Arena in Denver. All Girl Scouts, friends, and family are invited. Cost: $7/person ($5 ticket +online fees). All Girl Scouts, friends, and family are invited to Girl Scout Night with the DU Pioneers on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018! Cheer on the Pioneers as they take on the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks.

Join us for Girl Scout Day with DU Women’s Soccer on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Cheer on the Pioneers as they take on North Dakota State. All Girl Scouts, friends, and family are invited! The game will start at noon and will be held at the University of Denver Athletic Fields.

Girl Scout University at DU

Girl Scout University is a day-long event on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the University of Denver campus to help Girl Scouts earn badges. Alpha Phi Omega (a national service fraternity) at DU will teaching two 2-hour sessions offering the following badges:

Cadettes: First-Aid, Budgeting, Finding Common Ground, Comic Artists, and Netiquette

Juniors: First-Aid, Drawing, Digital Photographer, Jewelry, Entertainment Technology, and Scribe

Brownies: First-Aid, Dancer, My Best Self, Home Scientist, Making Games, and Inventor

Girl Scouts can choose one badge to work on in the morning session and another badge in the afternoon session.

Cost: $10/Girl Scout for both morning and afternoon sessions

$5/Girl Scout for one session (morning or afternoon)

Registration: Please contact cbarth8432@gmail.com to sign-up. Registration deadline is April 8, 2017.

Girl Scouts staying for both sessions should bring a sack lunch and water bottle.

All instruction will be provided by volunteers. Girl Scout volunteers and parents will be needed to maintain safety ratios. A space will be available for parents to hang out during the event if needed.

Girl Scout University: Badge workshop

Saturday April 15, 2017 is Girl Scout University, a day-long badge workshop on the University of Denver campus. Alpha Phi Omega (a national service fraternity) at DU is so excited to be presenting this event and hope you can join us.

We will be teaching a variety of Cadette, Junior, and Brownie badges this year including first aid, finding common ground, drawing, my best self, and many more. Each Girl Scout will have the opportunity to earn two badges throughout the day for only $10. The price includes instruction, all materials needed to complete the badge, and the physical badge itself!

“Me & My Guy” Hockey with the DU Pioneers

Join GSCO for “Me & My Guy” Hockey with the DU Pioneers on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017. All Girl Scouts, friends, and family are invited. Cheer on the DU Pioneers as they take on the St. Cloud Huskies. DU has had a great season and is currently ranked #2 in Division 1 Hockey. This game is Senior Night, the final home game of the season, and will celebrate their great season and achievements of their Senior players.

Date: Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 7 p.m.

Girl Scout University: A Badge-Earning Opportunity

We’re offering an opportunity for Girl Scouts of all levels on April 9th: Girl Scout University is a day-long event on the University of Denver campus to help Girl Scouts earn up to two badges. Alpha Phi Omega (a national service fraternity) at DU will be teaching two,two-hour breakout sessions on various topics ranging from public policy, first aide, etiquette, and more. Check-in begins at 8:30AM and the sessions run from 9AM-2PM. There will be an hour break for lunch. Lunch will not be included. Registration will close April 2nd. There is a $10 registration fee.
