We had a great Girl Scout Day with the Colorado Avalanche on Jan. 14, 2017! 135 Girl Scouts, friends, and family joined us for a pre-game rally and to cheer on the Avalanche as they took on the Nashville Predators. Girl Scouts traveled from the Pike’s Peak, Northern Colorado, and Denver-metro regions to join in the fun.
Girl Scouts got ready for the cookie sale by making banners, Hometown Heroes cookie box wraps, business cards, and a fun owl SWAP to celebrate the 2017 sale mascot. All participants also received a cool Avalanche, GSCO co-branded hat, complements of the Avalanche.
A BIG THANK YOU to Holly Millet, Laura Tobin, SarahBeth Lundine, and Korina Padilla for all their help at the event! Thanks to their expert help, the event went smoothly and everyone seemed to have fun! Also, a big THANK YOU to the Colorado Avalanche and Pepsi Center staff for hosting a great day for our Girl Scouts, friends, and family!
