A Snowy weekend at Meadow Mountain Ranch

Submitted by Wendy Hesse

Two Golden troops joined together to spend a weekend of fun and laughter at Meadow Mountain Ranch. We arrived in the dark on Friday, Nov 9, and woke on Saturday to snow on the ground. The snow didn’t stop our troops from enjoying programs: Fire building- including an outside fire building contest, Geocache- The geocache 7-stop course around the ranch and Survival Skills- which included building survival shelters outside in the snow. We wrapped up the full day of programs with a dance party and chocolate fondue. Meadow Mountain Ranch proved to be a great year-round location for fun and learning.
