Uniform to Uniform: We love first responders

We are Troop 77911. This is perfect. Our leader is a nurse and we held a first aid, emergency preparedness fair for our Bronze Award and used cookie money to buy CPR manikins. Last month, we had Officer Price with Erie PD hang out with us at our booth and we had a visit from some awesome firefighters. We are also sponsored by Carbon Valley VFW post 9741 Auxiliary, so we spend quite a bit of time with some amazing veterans.

These Cadettes are the definition of G.I.R.L. They are go-getters as the vice-president and secretary of their student council. They are innovators as winners of the regional science fair and are excited to go to the State Science Fair in April. For their bridging from Cadettes to Seniors, they will walk the bridge from Arlington Cemetery to the Lincoln Monument. As leaders, they started a Daisy troop this year and will once again PA at “Knots, Knives and Knonsense” and “Camp Among the Pines.” In addition to Girl Scouts, they are on the volleyball and basketball teams, student council, and both will be starting the bio-med program and honors program in the fall.

Invite uniformed personnel, such as law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, etc., to visit you at your cookie booth as part of Uniform to Uniform! Learn all about this new patch program on the GSCO Blog: https://bit.ly/2VaYX1a
