February 2021 Badge Series: Registration is NOW Open

Sign up for our Badge Series program in February 2021 to earn badges related to philanthropy. This program is the perfect complement to the work you are doing through the Girl Scout Cookie Program to learn about being an entrepreneur and philanthropy!

We will kick off the month of February with leaders and girls accessing the courses on our new Google Classroom site. Login information will be sent in the evening of February 2!

January 2021 Badge Series: Robots

Sign up for GSCO’s Badge Series program in January 2021 to earn badges related to robotics. Girls will be able to earn the Programming Robots, Designing Robots, and Showcasing Robots badges as part of this program. Activities will be adapted so girls can complete the activities at home on their own time with minimal supplies!

GSCO staff will kick off the month of January, with leaders and girls accessing the courses on our new Google Classroom site! Login information will be sent on the evening of January 6.

December 2020 Badge Series: Entrepreneurship

Register NOW for Girl Scouts of Colorado’s Badge Series program in December 2020 to earn badges related to entrepreneurship. Girls will be able to earn one of the new 2020 entrepreneurship badges to learn how to create an innovative product that meets the needs of girls. Some program levels will also earn our other innovation badges.

We will kick-off the month of December, with leaders and girls accessing the courses on our new Google Classroom site! Login information will be sent in the evening of December 2.

Blending GSCO’s Badge Series in Your Troop’s Experience

Leaders, are you looking at this upcoming Girl Scout year and feeling a little uncertain about how to engage your girls in a virtual setting? We are here to help! Girl Scouts of Colorado has launched a new virtual program called Badge Series. Each month, we provide online learning modules that instruct girls on how to complete badges and some months we even start a Journey!

Check out our training on either gsLearn if you are a Colorado troop leader or on GSCO’s YouTube channel. We will review the different ways you could use the program to engage your girls and explain the benefits of using the program.

October 2020 Badge Series: Civics

Sign up for our Badge Series program in October 2020 to earn badges related to civics. Girls will have the chance to earn two civics badges that encourage them to explore the structure of our democracy, learn about voting, and how they can be an active member of their community.

We will kick-off the month on October 5, with leaders receiving their content in gsLearn and girls accessing the courses on our new gscoHQ! Login information for girls will be emailed on October 5.

September 2020 Badge Series is Delayed

Access to our September 2020 Badge Series is delayed until September 15 for both girls and adults. Girl Scouts of Colorado is in the process of moving to a new system and it isn’t ready yet. Kick-off meetings are also delayed until September 15. You will still have several months to work through the activities for the badges and Journeys. If you have questions or concerns, please email GirlExperience@gscolorado.org.

September 2020 Badge Series: STEM

For our September 2020 Badge Series, we will learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) through badges and girls can start their first Journey of the year! Registration for both girls and leaders will open August 15 and close August 27. We will have our kick-off meeting for the girls on September 1.

Blending Badge Series in Your Troop’s Experience
