Girl Scouts of Colorado is kicking off another amazing Girl Scout year with the Fall Product Program. Participating is easy to do, so get started today!

Beginning Saturday, September 21, 2019 you can go to: www.gsnutsandmags.com/gsco and follow the prompts to participate. Please note that if your girl is a Juliette, her troop number will be her service unit preceded by 99 (for example, a Juliette in Service Unit 755 would be listed under Troop 99755 in the system). If you are not sure what service unit she is in, please select the “I don’t know/see my troop or Group#” option.

Watch the training video. It will walk you through how to do everything in the M2 system!

If your Girl Scout is not a current member, please go to join now. To renew her membership for the 2019 – 2020 year, please click here or call GSCO Customer Care at 1-877-404-5708 or email inquiry@gscolorado.org.

Create a Me2 Avatar: Your girl can create her own Me2 Avatar to look just like her. As she moves through the online set up creating her personalized storefront, she earns virtual rewards that she can view in her Me2 Avatar’s room.

Launch Your Campaign: Once the storefront is set up, simply send emails to friends and family inviting them to support your Girl Scout. Your girl can increase her sales by sharing on social media, too!

Visit Your Campaign Headquarters: Check your Girl Scout’s campaign headquarters to learn more about the cool reward items she can earn. The in-person and Nut Promise portion of Girl Scouts of Colorado’s Fall Program ends October 13. Online program ends on October 28, so get started early to give family and friends plenty of time to support you.

Update about new S’mores Club rewards

GSCO recently announced the 2019-2020 S’mores Club rewards would be a special hoodie and duffle bag, perfect for Girl Scout camping and travel, and we received a lot of positive responses!

Many people asked what colors the duffle bag and hoodie would be and what they would look like. We don’t have pictures of them to share just yet. But once we do, we certainly will! Do know that we are going with darker colors and durable fabrics, so both reward items will last through many Girl Scout adventures and many washings!

Along with the buzz around the new rewards, a few people also asked if Highest Awards charms for the bracelets that S’mores Club girls and adults earned in 2017 and 2018 would still be available. YES! Absolutely! To request a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award charm to complete girls’ S’mores Club bracelets, contact Girl Scouts of Colorado customer care by calling 1-877-404-5708 or email inquiry@gscolorado.org.

Fall Product Program begins September 21, 2019

Do you have lots of awesome activities that you want to do this year? The Fall Product Program is an easy and fun way to earn start-up funds for all those activities and more! By participating in this program, girls will also learn the 5 Skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

Nuts and candy are sold in-person using an order card or online and magazines are sold only online. Products that are ordered online can either be shipped or customers can select girl delivery. All troops receive 13% of their magazine orders as troop proceeds, plus $1/item for nuts and chocolates.

Girls earn rewards based on their participation in the Fall Product Program and have the option of choosing Cookie Credits as rewards too. All rewards are cumulative.

Important 2019 Fall Product Program dates:

September 21 – Fall Product Program Begins

October 13 – In-person sales end/Last day for Nut Promise orders

October 28 – Online storefront closes

In the Fall Product Program platform, M2OS, girls can create their own virtual storefront and market to friends and family through email. They have the option to create a personalized avatar for their virtual storefront too. Girls can also share their goals by recording their story, and the avatar will speak with their voice, representing them in the video!

By participating in the Fall Product Program and selling $175 in online orders, girls can also earn a personalized avatar patch – choosing between lots of customizations – including special backgrounds and wearing their Girl Scout uniform or a safari suit!

Volunteer training begins early September at area service unit meetings. Please note: This year, Fall Product Program materials will be sent to area service units, not directly to troops. Volunteers and caregivers can pick-up the guide, order card, and other resources at trainings.

For more information, go to the Fall Product Program page on the GSCO website or contact GSCO customer care at 1-877-404-5708 or inquiry@gscolorado.org.

New S’mores Club rewards

You can join the Girl Scouts of Colorado S’mores Club by participating in both the 2019-2020 Girl Scout Fall Product Program and Cookie Program. How to Qualify

GIRLS:

If you sell 15 items online during the 2019 Fall Product Program and 300 packages during the 2020 Cookie Program, you get:

  • A S’mores Club hoodie and duffle bag and personalized, S’mores Club avatar patch

TROOPS:

If the troop sells $350 in online sales during the 2019 Fall Product Program, you get:

  • An exclusive booth selection opportunity for the 2020 Cookie Program

And – If the troop has a 300 packages per selling girl average during the cookie program, the Troop Fall Product Manager and Troop Cookie Manager are eligible for volunteer rewards.

  • A S’mores Club hoodie and duffle bag, and a personalized S’mores Club avatar patch for the TFPM and TCM*

Please note – The troop per girl average (PGA) is calculated based on the total number of packages a troop sells, divided by the number of selling girls in that troop. *If the TFPM and TCM are the same person, only one reward will be given.

Also, the reward for adults is for troop participation only. Juliettes can qualify for S’mores Club and receive the personalized patch, duffle bag, and hoodie. However, caregivers of Juliettes cannot receive the duffle bag, hoodie, personalized patch, or an exclusive booth selection opportunity.

For a quick reference guide, check out the S’mores Club flyer and share it with girls and adults in your troop and service unit.
