This easy craft is perfect for younger Girl Scouts (or younger siblings) and is a great follow-up to “Carla’s Sandwich” by Debbie Herman.
- White paper or colored construction paper
If construction paper is not available, shapes can be drawn on white paper and colored.
Cut shapes for sandwich making – bread, protein, etc.
Cut, color, and embellish sandwich ingredients. Give bread a crust. Mustard has sunflower seeds and pepper.
Time to build your sandwich!
Grab a plate and start with one slice of bread. Spread mayo or I have mustard with sunflowers and pepper! Then, add the rest of your ingredients – spam, orange slices topped with pickles! Yum! Yum!
Top off your sandwich with the second slice of bread. You’re almost done.
Add some juice and lunch is ready! Bon Appetit! What kind or sandwich did you make?
We want to hear how your girl is using her Girl Scout skills by taking initiative, caring for the community, and Girl Scouting at home. She can send in her story here.
