When I welcome new families to my Girl Scout troop and service unit, one of the first questions about the organization is the time commitment. I promise every family that they can participate as little or as much as they want. It is up to every girl to decide how many opportunities she pursues through Girl Scouts.

And finally, with the help of volunteers in Apollo Service Unit, we have an activity that includes a lot of Girl Scouts in a short amount of time. Please join us for a new member Investiture and Rededication Ceremony on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Skate City-Aurora (15100 E Girard Ave, Aurora 80014). No celebration is complete without dessert, which gave us the perfect excuse to host a cupcake wars competition.

It’s basically three Girl Scout adventures packed into one!

For $7 your girl receives skate admission,  fun patch, one slice of pizza, and a drink

Optional Skate Rental +$3

Adult and sibling skaters are $5/per person and only includes admission.

I am a go-getter! Our venue has a capacity of 500 people and they are giving me a microphone and sound system. I am so excited to roller skate and sample cupcakes with my community. Make my dreams come true and help the event sell out in advance!
