Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame “Women in STEM” event

The Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame “Women in STEM” event is October 3, 2019 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the Space Gallery, 400 Santa Fe Drive in Denver. Tickets range from $50 – $75. You can buy tickets online: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/women-in-stem-tickets-66475884159.

In an era when women are increasingly prominent in medicine, law, and business, why are there so few women scientists and engineers?

The technology sector realizes that it must move toward greater diversity and attract more women to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. While women have been instrumental in many technology achievements over the years, they also have been ‘hidden figures,’ largely ignored by the media, by business, and by educators.

The vision of the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame is to inspire women in STEM and women from other walks of life to consider learning and sharing the inspiring stories of our inductees in STEM fields to the lives of women they work with, their daughters, their friends, and even if considering a career move.
