Ready for Not a Bummer Summer?

Just because school is out, doesn’t mean that Girl Scouts must go on break! Summertime in Colorado provides some of the best opportunities for Girl Scouts to engage in activities in their community. To earn the Not a Bummer Summer patch, you must complete the following requirements:

  • Girls must be renewed for the upcoming membership year (2019-2020)
  • Participate in two summertime activities as a troop
  • Complete one service project
  • Plan to start regular meetings before October 31

Once you complete the requirements, you can purchase your patch in-person or over the phone from the GSCO shop in Denver. We’d also love to hear about the service project that your troop completes. Use the Share Your Stories form on theGSCO blog to let us know how your girls have left a positive impact on their community.
