Girl Scout Troop 2393 saved their cookie money for three years and spent a week in Alaska and Canada! They studied ice melt, glaciers, and went dog sledding, zip-lining, kayaking, and sight-seeing in Alaska. On July 1, they were in Canada and spent Canada Day (a Canadian holiday similar to our 4th of July) with a local Girl Guide unit. The Girl Guides took them all around the city of Victoria and afterwards the girls watched fireworks and became great friends!
