Stuart Hole Forest Fire

Girl Scouts of Colorado is in close communication with the Larimer County Emergency Office, and as of 9:15 a.m., June 5, the Stuart Hole Forest Fire is moving away from Magic Sky Ranch. The Red Feather Lakes area is in no immediate danger and Highway 74 is open, so we are looking forward to all sessions at Magic Sky opening tomorrow (June 6) unless circumstances change. There are small amounts of smoke in the area, but no visible plumes of smoke or fire can be seen. Get ready for the camping fun to start!

We will alert families if the authorities determine there is a need for evacuation in the Red Feather Lakes area. Please be assured that the safety of our girls is Girl Scouts of Colorado’s top priority. As updates are available, they will be posted to Girl Scouts of Colorado’s website and social media channels.

Full refunds or re-assignment to another session at Magic Sky or another Girl Scouts of Colorado camp (as space is available) will be offered to families who wish to cancel the June 6th through 8th session at Magic Sky. Please contact our registrar at christina.cubitt@gscolorado.org or 303-607-4878.
